Loops of Yarn is a new store in Sumter, SC that offers many varieties of yarn, needles and other supplies along with classes for knitting and crocheting. The store is owned and operated by Ginger Martin Geddings and her sister Rhonda McLeod.

Loops of Yarn stemmed from a ministry outreach group of St. Mark’s UMC. Our Blessing Weavers ladies crochet and knit wraps and throws. We pray over the item for the person God has lead us to and present the item on a visit. Start your own ministry outreach group.

We also offer classes to learn to knit or crochet. Teens are welcome to start a group and meet. Summer camps are being planned.

Delivering a handmade throw or wrap that has been prayed over, to a young infant to the young at heart, is such a blessing to the recipient and the giver. We hope you will consider the many opportunities of outreach ministry using God’s gift of our hands.
